About the Role

As the Director of Marketing, you will work closely with our Customer Success, R&D and Sales teams to develop a holistic marketing strategy for Burt Intelligence. You will employ a variety of marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve short- and long-term goals including:

  • Content marketing (case studies, press releases, videos, etc.)
  • Digital demand generation and nurture campaigns (email, lead-gen, search, etc.)
  • Directory management (G2, Capterra, SoftwareAdvice, etc.)
  • Event planning (conferences, roundtables, webinars, etc.)
  • Online presence and strategy (Facebook, LinkedIn, website, etc.)
  • Product marketing (product launches, sales collateral, white papers, etc.)

The ideal candidate has the right blend of digital marketing and B2B marketing expertise to be able to develop impactful marketing plans that drive awareness/preference, build brand differentiation, and drive engagement with companies in the digital media ecosystem including brand marketers, marketing technology vendors and digital media publishers.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be the first dedicated hire in the company’s marketing organization, allowing you to have a major influence in how we build out this team in the future. This position can be located anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree a plus)
  • At least 5 years in a marketing role
  • At least two (2) years B2B marketing experience (SaaS preferred) 
  • At least two (2) years experience working in at least one of the following industries: adtech, business intelligence, digital media, marketing technology
